Whether your event is large,
small, elegant, down and dirty, slow paced, or fast and furious,
the Buffalo County Fairgrounds has the facilities for you! We’ve
designed our buildings so that you can have almost any type of
event on our grounds! The New Exposition Building, the Ag
Pavilion, the Exhibit Building and the Extension Building all
have different qualities that make our facilities the most
diverse indoor facilities in Kearney! All our buildings have
restrooms, ample parking and wireless internet available. Your

Exhibit Building
Banquets, wedding and graduation receptions,
anniversary and birthday parties, conferences and conventions
can all be held at the Buffalo County Fairgrounds’ facilities.
The Ag Pavilion, Exhibit Building, and Extension Building are
all great places to hold your small event. These facilities are
clean, ready to decorate, and have a kitchen area available. You
can bring in your own entertainment and the caterer of your
choice to turn our facilities into your
 special event. If you
need tables, chairs, a stage, electrical drop cords, PA systems,
or wireless internet, we have them available to rent! |

Concerts, dances, and art shows have all been
spot lighted at the Buffalo County Fairgrounds. Many types of
musicians, comedians, and shows have been to our fairgrounds
facilities. The *NEW BUILDING is a great area to hold larger
concert-style events, while the Ag Pavilion, Exhibit Building,
and Extension Building are great venues for smaller concerts,
dances, and art shows. Although you are welcome to bring your
own equipment, we have tables,
chairs, PA systems, electrical
drop cords, wireless internet, and portable stages and bleachers
available on site to rent. |

Trade shows, livestock and farm shows and sales,
consignment sales, craft shows, flea markets, RV, boat and
motorcycle shows, home shows, gun shows, and auctions come quite
frequently to the Buffalo County Fairgrounds. Some of the larger
livestock shows that call the Buffalo County Fairgrounds home
include the Buffalo County Fair, the Gateway Farm Expo, and the
Nebraska Cattlemen’s Classic. Other annual events that come to
the Buffalo County Fairgrounds include the RV & Boat Show and
the Home Show. The *NEW BUILDING and the Ag Pavilion are ideal
for stalling, showing, and selling animals. The *NEW BUILDING
also works well for larger trade shows, auctions, home shows and
RV, boat and motorcycle shows. Smaller trade shows, auctions,
consignment sales, craft shows, gun shows, and flea markets can
be held in our Ag Pavilion, Exhibit Building, or Extension
Building. If you need equipment such as tables, chairs, PA
systems, electrical drop cords, portable stages or bleachers,
wireless internet or a kitchen area for your sale, you’re in
luck! We have all this and more available for rental! |

Demolitions, rodeos, circuses, tractor pulls,
judging contests, carnivals, BMX races, other types of races and
sporting events also come to compete at the Buffalo County
Fairgrounds. Our facilities are home to Kearney’s largest
demolition derby, Kearney’s largest rodeo, and Fight Night. Our
*NEW BUILDING as well as our Outside Arena are ideal for
demolition derbies, rodeos, small stock car races, BMX races,
carnivals, tractor pulls, circuses and large judging contests.
Our Exhibit Building is also known as the “Tennis Building”
because of its flooring, which holds four tennis courts. The
*NEW BUILDING, Ag Pavilion, Exhibit Building, and Extension
Building would all work well for other types of sporting events
such as little league, soccer, boxing, wrestling, and dog races.
We also have
tables, chairs, electrical drop cords, PA systems,
wireless internet, portable stages and bleachers, panels, tennis
nets, and kitchen areas available on site for rental. |
