  • Mutton Busting - Sunday, August 1 12:30 pm (in the Outdoor Arena)

Buffalo County Fair has been a family tradition more than 100 years. There are animal shows, 4H demonstrations, horticulture displays, rides and games, live music, arts and crafts, food and commercial vendors with various products for sale.

Would you consider becoming a part of our Fair family and renting a space? Consider this – we are anticipating over 30,000 visitors during the 7 day run of the Buffalo County Fair. Many visitors to our fair are local residents, Buffalo County residents and folks from statewide and nationwide. Where else can you get exposure like this for your products and/or services?

If you are interested, respond as soon as possible for the best location!

GENERAL RULES FOR ALL ENTRIES
Entry Fees: $3.00 for the first entry, $3.00 for each additional entry. Payment can be made via Debit or Credit Card or Check when entering your exhibit(s) online OR Check/Money Order included with your entries when you ship or deliver them. Payable to:

ALL ENTRIES ARE CLOSED.  Judging will be at 9:00am, Saturday July 24 at Thunderhead Brewing.

Inside Commercial Booths – These booths are 10’x10’ pipe and drape booths. The booths can have electricity and draped tables. These commercial are in the Exhibit Building will be from Thursday through Sunday. The Exhibit Building houses the 4-H static exhibits, the Thursday Free BBQ, the court yard will host the 4-H Performing Arts contest on Friday and Sunday afternoon Kid’s Concert. The hours the booths will be open are Thursday, Friday, from 4:00 p.m. till 9:00 p.m., and on Saturday and Sunday, from noon until 9:00 p.m. We will have a special security officer patrolling the area the hours the exhibits are closed. You may set up your booth anytime on Wednesday or before 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. No booth is to be removed before 9:00 p.m. on Sunday.

Outside Commercial Booths - These booths come in three different sizes, 10’x10’, 10’x20’ and 20’x20’. Booths are to be set up and ready to open to the public by 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, the first day of the carnival. Booths are not to be removed before 10:00 p.m. on Monday, the last day of the carnival. These booths are adjacent to the Midway. The Carnival hours are Wednesday, Thursday, Monday from 6:00 - 11:00 p.m., and Friday, Saturday, and Sunday afternoon and evenings. We will have a special security officer patrolling the area the hours the exhibits are closed.

Outside Food Court - The Food Court is located adjacent to the Midway. Booths or trailers are to be set up and ready to open to the public by 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, the beginning of the carnival. Booths are not to be removed before 10:00p.m.on Monday, the last day of the carnival. Carnival hours are Wednesday, Thursday, Monday from 6:00 - 11:00 p.m., and Friday, Saturday, and Sunday afternoon and evenings. We will have a special security officer patrolling the area the hours the exhibits are closed. We do limit our food court vendors.

Inside Food Stands – These booths are located in the Exhibit Building. They contain countertops, storage, sinks and refrigeration. One booth has a gas griddle. These booths are for rent for the duration of the fair. If you are interesting in operating one of our inside food stands, contact our office at 308-236-1201.

BUFFALO COUNTY FAIR 2010-
SOMEWHAT DAMAGED WILL STAND IN FOR THE DARTS AT FAIR

KEARNEY – Somewhat Damage will perform Saturday following the Crash for Cash Demolition Derby at the Buffalo County Fair in Kearney.
The Kearney band will play in the slot originally assigned to The Darts. The Darts are unable to perform because of health problems.
